Consider a DATA ENTRY MODE in addition to EDIT MODE before sending an eSignature.

I need to enter values unique to each client before I send for signature. I start with a template, and choose beta feature to modify.

What would be nice is an EDIT MODE and DATA ENTRY MODE. Edit Mode is for creating a page and laying out. DATA ENTRY MODE is focused on just entering the data into the standard fields quickly. You enter a value, hit tab, and just to the next non-signer field.

These are values that none of the signers enter. They just approve what the creator entered, and sign.

This lets me enter in values without accidentally moving fields, and less mouse clicking. If you have to enter in a lot of unique customer values each time, this could save you a ton of time.

Enter a value, tab, enter a value, tab, enter a value, tab, and then just hit send.

You want a template where you can enter values that need to be approved for each client. Those values are unique to each client.
